SPA - Quality standards - Bottling operation

During the bottling operation, several types of tests are performed.

.The first one, performed by the production operators, is called “Process Control”.  Each employee, at each work station, receives training and instructions together with a programme of control, quality standards and methods.  Daily observations are recorded on the appropriate cards.  These controls are systematic and their effectiveness is guaranteed.



.A special unit referred to as “Quality Control” deals with the second inspection level and takes samples along the whole production line.  These are subject, not only to the previous controls, but to further specialized microbiological and chemical analysis.  The aim of this   department is also to examine the inspection cards of the production “operators” (“In-process Quality Assurance”).  Moreover, it must correct any non-conformance detected.
